The specifications outlined below are above industry standards, serve as a guideline only and can be customized to suit your needs as required.  All show homes follow these guide lines with multiple options included.

Framed Construction:

  • Outer Walls - 2 x 6 Spruce @ 16" center
  • Bearing Partitions - 2 x 4 Spruce @ 16" center

  • Floor Joists – Silent Floor Truss Joist System, open web on self contained models

  • Roof Trusses - Approved Roof Trusses @ 16" on center

  • Roof Sheathing – 7/16" Exterior Sheathing

  • Wall Sheathing – 7/16" Exterior Sheathing on exterior and interior of all load bearing walls.

  • Subflooring - T & G 23/32 O.S.B., T & G Fir (optional)

Flooring Structure


  • Limited Lifetime Warranty Fiberglass Shingles

  • Roof Trim - Pre-finished Aluminum Fascia and Soffit

Empire Construction Standards Above Industry Specifications:

  • Only premium grade materials.

  • All load bearing walls for each module are constructed with an exterior layer of wall sheathing and one on the interior for rigidity and strength, plus your drywall.


  • The first row of exterior wall sheathing on all load bearing walls is stapled and glued for rigidity and strength.

  • Roof trusses are built 16” apart as opposed to 24”, which makes the roof system stronger and supports a greater snow load.  


  • All interiors are finished with drywall.

  • Minimum  R24 insulation in your walls and a minimum of R50 insulation in your ceilings.

  • Led lighting fixtures.

  • Moen plumbing fixtures.

  • Top grade cabinetry with soft close drawers and doors.

  • Triple pane windows are our standard.

  • All tradespeople are all certified and ticketed with over 25 year relationship with Empire.
